Scale's emerging products are some of the fastest-growing in the company's history. In particular, we recently launched Scale Catalog, infrastructure to produce authoritative product data for eCommerce marketplaces including Etsy, Instacart, and PayPal.
We are seeing tremendous traction from customers already and are looking for great entrepreneurial engineers to help us accelerate our growth. In this role, you'll be given the opportunity to meaningfully impact millions of dollars in revenue by working closely with our largest customers. The ideal person is a software engineer generalist who can take an ambiguous scope and quickly execute to solve problems. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team of product managers, operations, and sales while contributing to everything from implementing new pricing to building demos to scaling NLP. You'll have the opportunity to work on diverse projects including implementing new pricing strategies, using CV/NLP to understand images & product descriptions, and expanding schemas to support everything from luxury fashion to dairy products.
Our primary tech stack consists of: Python, Node, React, Typescript, Postgres, and AWS. We are agnostic to your existing tech stack and can interview in your preferred coding language.
